I recognize the myriad of other activities you could fill these very moments with, and yet, you read on. As such, with excitement that you have discovered this site and gratitude for your choice to further explore, I welcome you. In some ways, this is just the beginning. It may be obvious that this is indeed the beginning of this blog, however it is truly the beginning of something much greater… a new relationship. As with any relationship, it will continue to develop and grow over time, to which I am excited to see where our journey together will take us! In other ways, this is the continuation of an existing journey, one you departed on a long time ago. As a fellow traveler, carving my own path through life, I am reminded of a quote by Ursula K Le Guin, “It is good to have an end to journey towards; but it is the journey that matters, in the end,” … or similar from Ralph Waldo Emerson, “It’s the not the Destination, It’s the journey.” … In either case, our journeys continue.So, as we journey together, whatever your destination, I am honored to be your new companion.
